Cable 2 x 2 right

Symbol RS only:



The thread at front. On the left needle you have (from right) two purls and two knits.


Drop these four stitches from the left needle carefully, then place the purls back, leaving the knits free at front

Catch the knits by the right needle


Place these knits onto the left needle


Place the thread back


Now knit the knits...

... and knit the purls, too, reversing them

Separators

Sometimes we would like to compose a set, built from the motifs/panels, separated by the narrow element. The most simple separator is "knit in the stitch below" at RS. In the traditional cable designs we can meet the various braids. In Floating Cables we do not use classic twists (under/over) so the potential separatosrs should match the general rules.
