Symbol RS only



The thread at front. On the left needle you have (from right) four knits.


Place three first knits onto the right needle.


Carefully catch the second one by the left needle, drop, then catch the third one by the right needle at the back


Now catch the first one by the left needle


And close it on the third one


Hold this stitch on the right needle...


Catch the fourth stitch by the right needle


And close it with the second stitch


Place back onto the left needle the stitch you held on the right needle



Now PURL these two stitches, reversing them

Separators

Sometimes we would like to compose a set, built from the motifs/panels, separated by the narrow element. The most simple separator is "knit in the stitch below" at RS. In the traditional cable designs we can meet the various braids. In Floating Cables we do not use classic twists (under/over) so the potential separatosrs should match the general rules. Let's take Pattern set no. 1 . This simple and easy. Let's choose the separator, and for the first proposal let it be also the most simple separator.
