The thread at front
Place the thread at the back
KNIT the current stitch, reversing it and holding on the left needle
Now KNIT in the stitch below
Drop the stitch from the left needle
Again, but reversible - KNIT in the stitch below the current stitch, holding it on the left needle
Now KNIT the current stitch, reversing it
Drop the stitch from the left needle
Now place back three stitches onto the left needle
Carefully replace the order of the first two stitches, placing the second as a first at front, then place back these three stitches onto the right needle
At WS PURL all of these four stitches
What do you mean by 'reversing the stitch'?
ReplyDeleteI mean, that.... normally when you "Knit the knits" (i.e) you knit directly as the stitch goes from the needle, in knit you place the right needle from front, inside the stitch. If you want to "reverse" - you place the right needle from frony BUT catching the stitch from the left. Another way - you have PURL stitch and want to have KNIT stitch from that. When you KNIT normally - the stitch will be reversed, means at the bottom of the stitch the threads will be crossed. I don't recommend this "cross" , THis is the same situation when you knit circularly. Knits are not the same as in knitting flat.
