Second (and nexts) repeat of the motif
We are here, with the begin of the second repeat indicated.
First, we have to pass the initial rows. Each chart the initial rows are separated from the body of the pattern.
So that means, that our repeat has 12 rows and starts at the chart on row 3.
Next we probably noted, knitting the first repeat, that at the WS we do not make any changes, we do not use any more complicated symbols apart knit, purl and slip. So this way we can make our work faster, not reading the chart at WS but only remember "knit the knits and purl the purls", what means, that the stitches we can see on the left needle as "knits" should be further "knits", and all the purls should be further "purls".
So in real we concentrate ONLY on the RS (odd rows).
Let's start to knit the second repeat, following the above conclusions. Let's count the rows of the
repeat again from 1.
Let's start row 5....
Oops! ERROR!
It is now quite good moment to show how to fix an error not frogging our work. Where's the problem? In the previous row two stitches which should be PURLED - were KNITTED. This error appeared before, in row 3, because instead of "cable 2 x 2 right" - "cable 2 x 2 right P" was knitted and then in row 4 (knit the knits and purl the purls) this error was continued. So now we cannot make cable 2 x 2 left P, because we have no knit stitches to use in this symbol, instead we have purls. So we need to change it. The best way is to do this "in the fly".
Carefully drop these two faulty stitches (two rows down) from the left needle, catching them by the right needle.
Place the threads at the back nad move these stitches again onto the left needle.
Carefully knit these two stitches with the lower thread...
Move the back onto the left needle...
Again carefully knit them with the upper thread...
... and move them back onto the left needle
DONE! Go on with row 5 and the current symbol
Now move the stitch markers to the last knitted row to indicate the begin of the next repeat
Good job 😉
